To increase our impact, we have introduced three divisions for our members.

1. Entrepreneurship


With a rapidly growing entrepreneurial presence on campus, the division aims to continue the Nottingham Entrepreneurs' great work. The division focuses on accelerating and encouraging start-ups through an idea's incubation programs in partnership with the Hayden Green Institute and Ingenuity Lab. 

In 2020/21, the Start-up Curriculum - Nottingham Entrepreneurs' flagship event - will return. The division will also host a selection of events, workshops and networking sessions to help ensure our members are equipped with the skills and connections required to launch a revolutionary business.

3. Business & Technology


From Starbucks to Google, technology has become a key source of business growth in the 21st Century. With a wide mandate, the technology division aims to upskill our members by offering courses in key skills such as coding and data analytics to help make our members t-shaped and ready for the future of work. Moreover, the division will educate our members on the business roles available in the industry by spotlighting exciting opportunities. Finally, the division will hosts talks exploring recent innovations in the sector and discussing how technology will continue to change both society and the economy. 

2. Finance & Consulting


Finance & consulting is one of the most popular fields for our members with 79% of them planning to enter the industry upon graduation. The division aims to work with partners, alumni and organisations to upskill all our members and offer them the knowledge needed to enter the industry. Through workshops, interviews and events the Finance & consulting division will help refine your CV and applications skills to ensure you are ready to secure your dream role. Moreover, the division will help educate our members on the latest industry trends and has created UoN's first-ever case study team.
